Growing Our Vision

The Giving Garden Haven is built on compassion, care, and community support. Every day, our rescue animals and Giving Gardens rely on thoughtful stewardship to ensure they are safe, healthy, and thriving. Maintaining a space rooted in giving comes with real and ongoing costs. We believe in being open about how your support makes a difference now and how it will help us invest in our future!

Supporting Our Rescue Animals

We strive to continually improve the safety and wellbeing of our animals. This year we will invest approximately $15 000 in animal area upgrades. These improvements include a new 10 by 12 shelter building, a goat climbing and play area, as well as repairs and upgrades to existing structures. These enhancements help provide enrichment, protection from the elements, and a more nurturing environment for our animals.

Our ongoing food costs for our rescue animals averages just over $1,200 a month. In addition to these monthly expenses, we have annual veterinary visits and unexpected medical needs, fencing maintenance and cleaning supplies, to ensure our animals receive timely and compassionate care throughout their lives.

Our Future Goals

The Giving Garden Haven requires continuous investment, upkeep and your support, and we know we can grow more! Greenhouses, garden boxes, power, and infrastructure are essential to supporting our food production, which allows us to grow and donate 100 percent of our harvest to local food banks and shelters.

Looking ahead, our long term vision includes raising $200,000 for a new multi purpose building. This future space, developed in collaboration with The Giving Place, would support workshops, training programs, retreats, a farm store, café, wellness offerings, and mentorship opportunities. Allowing us to expand our impact, deepen community connection, and create sustainable programming that supports both people and the land.
